It is fact that the 22nd 24H of Finale edition has been cancelled.
As Blu Bike, the association that creates and manages the event, we decided to proceed with a full refund of the subscription fee and avoided freezing it for future 2021 subscriptions.
Other that doing that, we asked you to go beyond the event interest and get involved in a bigger cause that touches everyone: we suggested to freely allocate part of the fee for the healthcare system.
The fundraiser for the Savona’s 118 was the perfect chance and, as we knew, you showed us how the 24H of Finale’s riders are always able to stop and help whoever is in distress.

Thank you for the 6000€ that the Savona’s 118 is now able to count on. All of this through your wire transfers and the Gofundme support.
The 24H of Finale raised us through the ability to keep playing and maybe helped keeping the generosity of kids and great figures, alive.
Thank you, because what we always say: “The 24H of Finale: it’s Fun, it’s Hard, it’s Crazy” can now change to: “The 24H of Finale it’s Great”
Together with us, also Monica Scarimbolo wants to say “Thank you”. She is not only one of those doctors working in the E.R. but is also managing the fundraiser itself that helps fighting the emergency we are living.
Since our local healthcare system operates greatly all-year-round, the donation process has been a downright no-brainer for us.
All in all, the biggest thank you goes to all the doctors, nurses, care-givers, helpers and voluntaries of 118, the Finalmarina’s Whitecross, Finalborgo’s Greencross, Mountain rescue and Civil Protection teams that are everyday on the frontline fighting this long battle. Not only now though, they always provide an impeccable service during events such as the the 24H of Finale, same as any Mountain Bike activity in the area.
They are individuals part of structures that tirelessly work behind the scenes, seldom seeing their work noticed and cheered, but allowing the making of our passion safe.
We want to be 100% transparent.
The detail of the € 6000 donation follows:
- € 1300 was donated directly by the athletes through the link we disclosed in our press releases and verifiable directly on the Go Fund Me fundraising page:
